The 5th International Conference on Logistics System, Traffic and Transportation (LSTT 2025) was held with great success from December 5 to 7, 2025, in the vibrant city of Dalian, China.

Supported by the Engineering Research Center of Guangxi Universities and Colleges for Intelligent Logistics Technology and the Institute of Intelligent Transportation of Dalian University of Technology, LSTT 2025 provided an excellent platform for scholars, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange innovative ideas and explore the latest advancements in logistics, traffic, and transportation systems.

 

The conference featured a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers who delivered insightful presentations on a diverse range of topics. 


Professor Shaopeng Zhong from Dalian University of Technology kicked off with a compelling talk on“Based on Large Language Models for Intelligent Urban Traffic Signal Control,”highlighting the integration of AI technologies into urban traffic management.

Professor Qian Zhang from Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology shared research on“Study on the Effect and Mechanism of Digital Empowerment on Green Governance of Manufacturing Enterprises in Northeast China,”emphasizing the role of digital technologies in sustainable manufacturing.

Professor Teng Li of Harbin University of Commerce presented cutting-edge strategies on“Multi-AGV Path Planning and Scheduling Optimization in the 'Goods-to-Person' Picking Mode of E-commerce Warehouses,”.

Associate Professor Katarzyna Turoń from the Silesian University of Technology, Poland, discussed“Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions: From Policy Uncertainty to the CalmMobility Paradigm,”offering an international perspective on the future of urban mobility.

Throughout the conference, attendees engaged in a wide array of oral presentations given by researchers from multiple countries, including Thailand, China, and Poland. Research topics showcased innovations such as train delay reduction models for high-speed rail, obstacle avoidance methods for container ships navigating complex channels, capacity analysis of virtual coupling systems in train operations, integrated development strategies of transportation and tourism, convoy size impacts in virtual train coupling, and advanced ship detection methodologies based on improved deep learning architectures. Additional topics included dynamic risk assessments for LNG storage, development of frost-resistant road concrete, disruption risk propagation in port service supply chains, logistics UAV takeoff and landing location optimization, and financial demand characteristics in airport-related economies.

Moreover, the conference featured an engaging poster session comprising 12 posters, providing a dynamic forum for emerging researchers to present their work and foster collaborative opportunities.
